Release the domain from WordPress.com
-
Hello,
My domain gpointacademy.com is still partially connected to WordPress.com, even though it does not appear in my Domains panel anymore.DNS propagation tools show WordPress.com nameservers:
- ns2.wordpress.com
- ns3.wordpress.com
This is blocking my external hosting and WordPress installation.
Please fully disconnect / release the domain from WordPress.com.
It is not visible in my account, but your system still holds it.This is urgent — thank you!

Hi there,
Thank you for the details! I have checked the global domain registry specifically for
gpointacademy.comto see what is causing the delay.I have good news: The domain has already been successfully released and disconnected from WordPress.com.
Here is what I found in the public records:
- Registrar: The domain is registered with Enom, Inc. (managed by your domain provider), not WordPress.com.
- Current Nameservers: The public records are already showing your new hosting:
ns1.uphost.proandns2.uphost.pro.
Why you still see WordPress.com: Since these changes were made recently (Nov 28), you are experiencing DNS Propagation. This is the time it takes for servers around the world to clear their cache and recognize the new settings. This typically takes 24–48 hours.
Because the domain is not registered here, there is no “switch” for us to flip. The settings at your registrar are correct, and the internet just needs a little more time to catch up.
Rest assured, no action is needed on your end. The connection to your new host should stabilize fully within the next few hours.
