Releasing My Domain

  I need to have WordPress release my domain and set primarily on godaddy. I have been trying to contact support via phone calls but it always goes to voicemail. This is getting frustrating. I am already concluding that the support call center is just not here to help anyone.

  Hi there, WordPressdotcom does not have phone support. Support for free sites is given here in our forums and if we volunteers are not able to resolve the issue, we tag the thread for Staff attention.

  What is the domain you are trying to have WordPressdotcom release? Did you buy a domain from WordPressdotcom as part of an upgrade plan under this account?

  I don’t see any domain ever registered with the account you’re contacting us from.

  Please let us know the domain you’re referring so we can point you in the right direction of getting support.

  Here is my domain that I am trying to get released. I bought the domain from godaddy but I ended up using wordpress as the host.

  Hi, so — actually the domain gurunlimited.com is registered at GoDaddy and also points there currently. We don’t have any control over it, but if I’ve understood you correctly it’s already doing what you want it to.

  Are you trying to point it to our servers instead? And is that site set up yet? I wasn’t able to see any sites on your account.
