Remaining connected to LinkedIn

    I have posted twice before about this problem. I am finding that my blogs are not publishing on LinkedIn, then it will randomly publish, and then stop publishing. I have disconnected and reconnected on a number of occasions but now it seems to have simply stopped publishing full stop.

    Could you please help me resolve this issue for good as it is beginning to drive me mad.

    Hi Garry, Sorry for the frustration. I’ve regenerated the Publicize option, in case somewhere in the series of disconnections/reconnections, the connection was not reset properly.

    When you disconnected, did you clear your browser’s cookies (this clears some cookies that LinkedIn sets which are likely part of the problem) before reconnecting? This is a very important step, so if you didn’t do it the last time, please do.

    Any posts that have been published in the past will not Publicize to LinkedIn, even if you update them. The only way to confirm if your connection is working properly is to create a brand new post.

    Hopefully, with the tests I’ve done on my end, along with the disconnect/clear cookies/reconnect on your end, things should be working well now. Will you please get back in touch with my and let me know? If the Publicize feature fails on your next new post, we’ll look further into this issue for you.

    Still not connectig I am afraid. I have disconnected, cleared cookies, re-loaded, reconnected, it is showing that I am connected and (shared), but the blogs are still not appearing on LinkedIn.

    Garry, There’s one additional thing I do need you to try. Can you please disconnect from Google + the next time you publish? I am curious to see if that connection is interfering with your LinkedIn auto-publication. Let me know what happens. Thanks again!

    Seems to have worked, but I will keep a watch on it because it has worked for a few days in the past then dropped out again.
