Remind101 Widget
-
I am a teacher and use Remind101 to send messages to my students. I would like to add their widget to my wordpress.com site. This is the code:
<script src="https://www.remind101.com/widgets/messages.js?token=b3a1bc60ea4701302ee5520e60f988db" type="text/javascript"></script>.Can you tell me how to add this widget? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We cannot use JavaScript codes. The software strips the code out for security reasons.

Thanks for your quick response. Remind101 is a great tool for teachers and students. I’ll cross my fingers that they come up with a solution for this.

There is no workaround I am aware of. To use JavaScript widgets you would need to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting and set up a WordPress.org install. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

It’s a text message widget. https://www.remind101.com/
I have been searching. The only workaround I have come up with is creating another blog using the P2 twitter like theme, http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/p2/ creating a custom menu on the main blog, http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/ and adding a custom link into it for the P2 blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#adding-custom-links

I was thinking just create a blog, not indexed by search engines, and use the RSS widget in the sidebar of the main blog, but that doesn’t pump a message out on any instant messaging platform. There ARE ways to take an RSS feed and feed it into a text messaging tree, but that’s serious hacker-level stuff.
