  I need to remove myself from a blog I created because I am no longer involved with the organization

  You can transfer ownership of the blog by following these instructions:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account

  Once you do that, you’ll be removed from the blog.
