Removal of 200 euros from my bank account
-
I purchased a Google product from you a few weeks ago and now Google has removed 200 euros from my bank account (yesterday). They tell me they cannot answer any query because you are the reseller. At present I have my bank on the case and we want all the details to give to the police, as this is fraudulent removal of funds from my account. Since Google will not speak to me, what will you do as reseller?

Hi there!
From what I can see, you have purchased GSuite on April 16th that costs £54.00.
There has been no other charges to this account (the other subscriptions you’ve purchased where refunded) as you can see in your dashboard:https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing
I’m not sure what is the 200€ charge of which you are speaking. Could this be for another WordPress.com account of yours?
If you’re not sure what site the charge is for, please search for it at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/.You’ll be able to use the Contact Us link on that page to contact our billing support team directly for further help with this – to track down the transaction we’ll need to get some additional information from you which we cannot discuss here in the public forums.

You see the problem is this just goes around in the same circles I have experienced over 24 hours. Google says contact you, as reseller, you say you know nothing, and so I go round in circles. Each time some new irrelevant question is asked: NO I DO NOT have “another WordPress.com account ”
I purchased a Google cloud add on through you, and that has now led to 200 Euros disappearing from my account. Clearly, neither you at WordPress nor Google wish to resolve it.
It will now be a matter for the police. This is totally unacceptable.

I understand this must be frustrating, however, to be able to help you we need more information. That is why we are asking questions.
I purchased a Google cloud add on through you, and that has now led to 200 Euros disappearing from my account.
I’m trying to understand what are you referring to since the only service from Google that you can purchase on WordPress.com is GSuite custom email account. As I previously mentioned, you have purchased that on April 16th for the site equusasinus.net. That had a cost of £54.00 and we can cancel and refund that if you wish to.
It would be helpful if you could tell us where exactly did you purchase the subscription you mentioned. A screenshot would be great. You can use an online tool for that (such as https://snipboard.io/), or follow the instructions described here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/.
I’m pretty sure you’re talking about Google Hosting Platform (Google Cloud Platform) for WordPress sites – that has nothing to do with WordPress.com.
To clear up any further confusion, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org and they are two different entities.
We, WordPress.com are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is a stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.
You can find more details about WordPress.com and WordPress.org on this support page:
https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
I know you said Google sent you to us, but they probably did that thinking about the GSuite account, which indeed was purchased through us and we could help with that. I’d suggest that you reach back to Google with the exact purchase ID from your account. Once they find the subscription in question, I’m sure they will be able to help you out with that.
