Removal of Domain away from WordPress

  Hi, I need to move my domain thefutureoftextorg away from pointing to http://thefutureoftext.wordpress.com but I cannot find this. Please help me free this domain so I can use it with a regular ISP. I have looked through the help files and only find directions which include options which are not available on my dashboard such as “Go to Store → Domains in your blog’s Dashboard. Look for Domain Administration and change the password.” I don’t have such a Domain Administration area.

  It seems the domain is already hosted at another registrar. Go to Store -> Domains and click on the “Delete” button next to your domain if you want to cancel and refund your domain mapping.

  Please make sure you revert your domain’s nameservers back to its default in order to point it to your current registrar.

  Don’t forget that you need to update the DNS for the domain (the name servers) to point to different web hosting. The DNS settings control which servers traffic for a domain is sent to.

  Just deleting the domain mapping upgrade on the WordPress.com only has the effect of stopping it from working on the WordPress.com side. You also need to update your DNS.
