Removal of 'Luminate' Adverts over Images
-
Hello WordPress
We’ve recently started seeing adverts appear as a bar over the first 7 or so images on any page. These are closable with a click, but we have received negative feedback on their intrusiveness.
We do not wish to exit the WordAds programme (the video or still ads after blog text are absolutely fine), however we would like a way to opt out of these new ‘Luminate’ ads (unless the additional revenue generated from these is reeeaally good!).
Is this possible, and if so can you help us?
Many thanks in advance

I have disabled the image overlay ads as requested.
That’s a limited test we’re running, announced on the private WordAds Group blog.
Do you have access to that blog? You would have received an invitation when you joined WordAds, but I can send a new one to you.
Also, please note that you can always get a quicker answer to your WordAds questions by contacting the WordAds team directly: http://wordads.co/contact/

I am also having this issue. I wouldn’t mind it if it were on say one image or the most recent post image on my home page, but it’s on almost every single image and it’s horrible. When will there be an option to turn this off?

Not to worry as macmanx will respond as soon as he can. Please be patient while waiting.
