Removal of ‘Menu’ Title (especially in mobile view)

When shifting into mobile view, my site hides all menu items behind a hamburger-menu icon. When you click this icon, it displays all the menu items. However, when it does this, it also displays a title stating ‘Menu’ above all the navigation options. In another theme, it displays this right next to the hamburger menu icon (in the mobile view). Is there any way I can get rid of this title/text that declares ‘Menu’.

The thing is, I’m not using English as my site’s primary language and I’m not a fan of the translated version (just too literal, I’m afraid). So I’d rather just the icon remained.

Is there any way I can remove/hide this? Or, at the very least, is there any way I can just display the ‘Menu’ text in English without having to change the site’s primary language to English?

Ah, I see what you mean. There isn’t really a way to hide this unless you’d use custom CSS (available on plans Premium and above).
What you can do, though, is suggest a better translation on https://translate.wordpress.com/.

Ah, well. Thanks anyway! I’ll probably drop in a suggestion.

Assuming I do purchase a premium plan, how exactly would I go about removing it with custom CSS? Is there a walkthrough you could link me to?

The plan will come with some basic CSS support:

So at that point if you wanted to hide it, we could recommend a snippet. Something like this may work:
