Removal of PicApp Image Embed Code
-
How can I easily rid my blog posts of all the long defunct PicApp embed code?
Apparently the code is responsible for slowing down post loading time since. I don’t recall which posts had PicApp embeds in them and would dearly like to avoid having to manually search through a year’s worth of posts on at least 2 sites.
Thanks

(sigh) If not automatic, is there a way to search for the picapp code or part of the code using, maybe, the Dashboard omnisearch?

Have you tried searching for “picapp” or even “view.picapp.com”?
How many posts do you feel like we may be talking about here?

I really don’t know. I didn’t use it that frequently (thank goodness) so even if I have to go through my blog posts one-by-one, it’ll go on my “to do” list. Was just hoping that I wouldn’t need to.
When you ask if I’ve tried searching for picapp or view.picapp, I assume you mean in the omnisearch, or elsewhere? (And we’re searching for the shortcode, right?)

Hey there. You can search with omnisearch or search from the View All Posts screen. Either way you’ll see the results. Did you need more help with this?
