Removal of Salacious Ads Placed on My Blog Post

    I noticed this evening that salacious political ads have been place on my Central West End – North blog post. Many teachers and students use my blog. I want these ads removed & any other political ads that have been placed on my posts.

    We show thousands of ads across tens of thousands of sites every day. The process that displays ads is completely automated, and no two people visiting your site sees the same ads, as which ads people see are determined by factors like their location and browser history.

    So there is absolutely no way for us to know which ads you’re speaking of based on the information you provided here.

    We do not allow political ads on WordPress.com, but it’s always possible that an advertiser managed to slip something past the checks the ad networks we use have in place for that. But in order to investigate that, we need to know exactly which ad it is.

    Next time you see that ad, please look for and click the Report this ad link that should appear directly above or below the ad. That will submit the ad directly to our ad network for review.

    If you don’t see that link, please take a screen shot of the ad, and copy the URL that the ad goes to when clicked, and send us that information via the form at https://wordpress.com/support/about-these-ads/
