Remove a blog from My Blog lIst

  I need to remove the Blog A10MBM. I am a complete novice at this and this is charity work. After many years I am handing over my duties as Treasurer at the local village hall. I am trying to tidy up the admin. I just can’t seem to get rid of this blog. When I go to delete, it refers to dvhwebsite.wordpress.com then I get very nervous and back off. Help please.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey,

  To delete a blog please follow the steps mentioned here :
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  If the problem persists then we can troubleshoot it further.

  Thanks for the reply.

  When I click on the blog I have a page that states “a10mbm.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site”

  I can’t get any further.

  It already appears deleted like you said. Are you still having any issues? it should no longer be listed under the My Sites list.

  Thanks for the input.

  Correct already deleted but is still appearing on the “My Blogs” page. Any ideas on how to remove it?

  Hi there,

  I checked and there are no users currently connected to the site. Have you logged out and logged in to see if the site is still there under My Sites?

  Yes I have. When I deleted account I lost my way and at one time thought I had lost the village hall website. Thank fully i have not.
  Probably confused the site.
  Sorry about this. Still listed on My Blogs Page.

  I also changed the Username when I first log into WordPress. All in all a real cock up.

  Gotcha – so This blog was renamed from a10mbm.wordpress.com to dvhwebsite.wordpress.com which is why you see dvhwebsite.wordpress.com when you go and delete a10mbm.wordpress.com. I think what is confusing you is that the title of the site is still a10mbm, but you can change the name here:

  https://dvhwebsite.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php

  So once I go to your link what do I do?

  Sorry a real amateur here.

  Ultimate goal is to remove/delete the site/blog from “My Blogs list” and leave me with just the one Blog that is:

  Blog Name: Diddlebury Village Hall
  Address : dvhc.wordpress.com

  So I want to remove:
  Blog Name: a10mbm
  Address : dvhwebsite.wordpress.com

  Thanks darnelldibbles for all your help to date. It would be really appreciated if you stick with is numpty!

  Oh probably to confuse matters even more. My wordpress login / username is:
  dvhwebsite as you can see

  But previous post is where I want to be.
