Remove a blog posting from Google
-
Is it possible to remove a blog post from Google? I moved the post to trash Can and then permanently removed it but two weeks later it still shows when I search Google News and select Search Blogs. Obviously when you click on results the post reads Cannot Be Found. Any idea how long Google will keep this entry?

Google will generally keep it for a few months, unless your blog is highly active and they crawl it regularly; if you link to it in a new post, that might expedite their deletion of it. But the fastest way is to contact google and ask them to remove it.
You will, however, have to contact each sub-Google, like Google.ca, Google.co.uk etc etc, as well as Bing, Yahoo, and other similar search engines and ask each of them to delete it. IT is no easy task.

You can also register your blog with Google Webmaster Tools (GWT) and ask for the URL to be deleted using GWT.
