Remove a footer of the theme

When I put on this one-page squeeze page, there is a section in the most bottom part that says: “Get the Full Version Whiz Kidz WordPress Squeeze Page Theme Pack – 25 Themes Plus Video Tutorials”
Any idea on how to remove that? (I think it has to modify a .css file, but which one and what to remove?) thanks.

You seem to be using the self-hosted version of WordPress, available on WordPress.org.
The right place to ask for support for your site is http://wordpress.org. The volunteers should be able to help you there!

How do I remove “Blog at WordPress.com. | Theme: Bouquet by Automattic.” from my blog? I want a website apperence, so I would like to remove this bit entirely from my site. Thanks.

The current policy about the footer in the support documentation:
May I remove the ‘Blog at WordPress.com’ credit in my site’s footer?
Although the Custom Design Upgrade certainly grants you the capability to hide the credit from your site’s footer, you are not permitted to do so. Even our VIP bloggers are required to maintain the credit.http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#frequently-asked-questions

Thank you for the replies… It’s mostly the word “blog” I want to remove, I don’t mind having wordpress there…

@carolepotter, is that because you simply just don’t see your poetry posts as blog posts? I’d like to hear more about why you’d want to remove “blog” from the footer link.

Just a couple of observations.
1) Nobody seems to really read the footer anyway
2) I have seen many “blogs” on WordPress.COM for people that are know world wide – some have domain mapping and most have the no ads upgrade and don’t seem to have a problem with the footer.
So if it works for say Johnathan Turley and others why are minor players so upset and threatened by the footer?
I think one person actually read the footer on my site and ask about it (they knew about WordPress.COM, but thought WordPress.COM was only for “free blogs”) – my reply was that WordPress.COM was one of the biggest hosts in the world and includes CNN, Ford Motor and many radio stations, and that I went to one of the largest and most reliable hosts – when all was said and done they thought my domain mapping solution and not being a system admin was a great idea.

Also, the WordPress.com VIP clients have the same footer credits too. I’m interested in the feedback/reasoning for all the arguments. Thanks auxclass. :)

@designsimply… this is not in regard to a poetry blog with “poetry posts”. It is for my novascotiahealingarts.com site – has nothing to do with poetry. I guess I just don’t see the reason for insisting we wear a name brand, whether on clothing, blog sites etc. I like a clean slate, but that’s just me… Anyway, thought I had read that it could be done. Nevertheless… Thanks for the feedback!

Even if you have a WordPress.ORG install, many of the Themes, both free and paid require the Theme designer credits to be left in.

Also since WordPress.COM does not charge for hosting that is their way of getting a bit of credit for what they are doing, I guess you could call it building the brand, the same as you are going to do with your new site.

Well if i am paying for custom css and the domain then i expect that the credit shouldn’t go elsewhere especially when i have changed so much of the original template
