Remove a menu tab but not lose the page

  Please can you advise?
  I want to remove a couple of tabs from the menu (and the pages) but without losing them altogether as I will need the formatting for next year.
  At the moment they are unpublished but the ‘page not found’ message looks unprofessional.

  – If you want to remove the tab from the menu and don’t want to lose the page then you just have to remove the menu tabs instead of deleting the page.

  Deleting the page will give you ‘page not found’ error.
