Remove account including email address

I would like to have my account, or at the very least, my email address deleted, since I no longer use WordPress. I have been able to empty all the rest of my account and delete all the sites. However, this is a concern because if the site gets compromised, my email will be compromised. The only way I can see to do it is to make up a new email account (like on gmail) and switch my wordpress account email with it, then when the switch is made, go back and delete the new email account. If there is an easier way, please let me know, thanks! /K

The user account itself cannot be deleted. It is set up that way to prevent someone else from gaining access to your site and pretending to be you.
If you want to get rid of your account details, follow this link and remove all personal information from your account.

Change your email address to a throwaway address and change the password to something random that you won’t remember to prevent you from gaining access to it in the future. Or, you can just block all emails and keep the account dormant in case you may want to use it again in the future.
