Remove admin from blog.
-
I made a new account, “caicopley”, because I didn’t know if I wanted to keep this account, “calcopley”, as I was trying out different names, because I am an out and proud trans man in the middle of legally changing my name. I did settle on the username “caicopley” (I am legally changing my name to Cai Copley), but was wondering how I can remove “calcopley” from my blog account. “calcopley” is the account I started the blog under but no longer use, I am always on “caicopley” now. Any way to do that? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

As long as both of your accounts are admins, there should be no problem. Log into the unwanted account and go to My Blogs, then click to leave that blog.

I am trying, but it won’t let me. Does the fact I have a domain upgrade affect any of that? I also tried transferring ownership to my username caicopley, but it won’t let me do that, either.

Yes, this will require management help. I’ll flag this thread for staff. You can’t delete the account that owns the upgrades.

Hi there,
So the issue as far as I can tell is that you want the user “calcopley” (with an L) to still be associated with the blog caicopley.wordpress.com. You only want the user “caicopley” (with an I) to be associated with it, yes?
As suggested previously, the issue here is that calcopley owns the upgrades and is in fact the owner of the actual site. If you could respond here using the calcopley username that you want me to transfer the domains and the site to caicopley, I can do so. Then you shouldn’t have any issues leaving the site.
Let me know if you have any questions!
