Remove administrator

  My administrator set this up and abruptly resigned! I changed the password however it still lists her as administrator and I need her information and all access to this website removed

  It would be helpful If you could share your website URL with us. And please check whether your website is hosted on wordpress.com.

  Hi there, If you are referring to a site hosted here on WordPressdotcom, the person who registered the site here cannot be removed unless they first transfer ownership of the site to another site user.

  After the site has been successfully transferred, the new site owner can remove the old Administrator following this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#removing-users

  Barring the above procedure, there’s no way to remove that person. Please understand that WordPressdotcom will not divulge a user’s account information to another user.
