Remove advertising bar at top of blog?

  Recently I’ve noticed this white bar with ‘create your website at wordpress.com’ has started appearing at the top of the header on my blog. I don’t notice it on other free blogs so I am not sure if it’s because it’s the free version or not. Is there a way to get rid of it? Thank you.

  That bar appears on all free sites on WordPress.com, but you can remove it by upgrading to any of the plans you see here:

  https://wordpress.com/pricing/
