remove all of my blog followers

  I have renamed and repurposed my blog and would like to remove existing followers, as they are unlikely to be interested in the new contents.

  Could you delete all of my existing followers please?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Errol,

  First of all, congrats on the newly-formed site! Cool.

  Unfortunately, we cannot delete followers. I’m so sorry, but once they’ve subscribed, the followers are the only ones who can remove themselves from a WordPress.com site.

  My suggestion is to write a blog post on your new site that tells your old followers what the new site is about, and if they want to leave, they can use these instructions:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/following/#how-to-unfollow-a-blog-if-youre-a-wordpress-com-user

  They will two sets of steps to follow: first, if they are WordPress.com users, and second, if they are not.

  Wish I could be more helpful on this front, but this should do the trick.
