Remove an Administrator?
-
I have used to have two wordpress blogs. I deleted one. For some reason the user ID associated with the deleted blog is showing as an administrator for the remaining blog. How do I remove this association? I have gone to the dashboard (logged in as both users), gone to users, and tried to remove the administrator or even change the role, but I get error messages whenever I do. How do I fox this? I wish I could delete the user id associated with the deleted blog but apparently that’s not allowed.

As far as I know you need to check the name of the user and then from the ‘bulk actions’ dropdown choose ‘remove’.
Would you let us know please what error messages you’re getting?

Yah, I’ve tried that a dozen times. The error message I get is “ID #7426307: You don’t have permission to remove this user”

The message I get when I log in with the ID associated with the deleted blog is “ID #7426307: The current user will not be removed. ” Gah! Yes, I have tried repeatedly using both IDs and this is all I get.
