Remove an old blog and start a new one

  Hello. I wish to delete (remove) my blog entitled Richard Osborne Astrology Services (url: richardoastrologyblog.wordpress.com), but retain ownership of the name. At the same time, I want to keep the new blog I just created entitled mycatcat as my primary blog, with my current email address (email visible only to moderators and staff). Note the that blog I want to delete (remove) also uses the same email address. Thanks for any help or advice you can give me. best, Rich Osborne

  You can quickly remove your contents by deleting them in bulk.

  IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blogs and/or blog content does not remove any indexed items from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months.

  You can have multiple blogs registered under the same username account and associated email address. Each blog remains independent and nothing you change on one blog has any affect whatsoever on the others registered under the same username account.

  Great! Thanks a million for your help. I think you answered by question and solved my problem. So I think I’ll just delete all the entries in my astrology blog, make it private, and totally unaccessible to the public, and just start up my “mycatcat” blog, making that one public (or accessible only to my nutty friends who might be interested in my poetry posts. Does that sound like it would do it? Thanks again. I really appreciate your help. best, Rich O.
