Hi there.
It’s possible to remove the author and date from your posts with some custom CSS. If you’re not familiar with CSS, it’s a coding language that’s used across the web to change the appearance of websites. Here at WordPress.com, it’s possible to add custom CSS to change certain parts of your site’s design. You can read more about this here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#custom-css
To add custom CSS, you firstly need to go to My Site in WordPress.com then choose the option to Customize in the left sidebar. You’ll reach what’s known as the WordPress.com Customizer:
https://wordpress.com/customize/atrasdamoitafilmes.com/
From here, click on the CSS tab. Below the introductory text in the resulting editor, copy and paste the following CSS:
.entry-meta { display: none; }Let me know how you get on with that or if you have any extra questions. I’ll be happy to help further.

Thank you so much! It worked very well :)
One last question, it’s possible to remove the footer that says “blog on worpress.com / the hermes theme”?
-
I’m glad that worked for you!
We ask that you keep the credit to WordPress.com and your theme as part of our terms of service. It’s worth noting that we also ask this of sites hosted through our VIP program. You can see an example of this at the bottom of the TED blog:
Although I can’t help you remove the existing credits, I can help you add your own credit alongside them in the footer. This can be done with the following custom CSS:
.site-footer-bottom:before { content: "Example copyright text"; }Replace “Example copyright text” with the text you wish to appear. :)
Hope that’s helpful!
