Remove Author Name From Posts/Homepage

Before today, I the only author on all my posts, so in my Triton Lite homepage, the author name never showed up below the title of a post. Now, I added someone else as an author, and the author name is showing up. I’d like to remove that from every post. Is there a way to turn that off? Thanks.

Some themes display author bylines and author profiles and some do not. There is no free way to move, remove or hide the byline other than switching to a theme that does not provide one. In case you want to switch themes here are links to lists of themes that either have or don’t have that feature:

Here’s how to get rid of it from the main page and single post views, you can try it out in Appearance > Customize > CSS by pasting this code into the text area:
.single .by-author, .by-author { display:none; }
