Remove author name in email subscribe widget

  I have been asked to write a blog about the consulting work that I do & I also ghostwrite using https://michaelvanmarco.wordpress.com.

  My question is that I want to use my real name for a different blog & write for the ghostwriter. I clicked the page for invite new user, entered my personal email & clicked send. When that arrived in my gmail I clicked the roundish blue button accept I it still will only show one author for the site.

  So now when I previewed a post it shows michaelvanmarco as the author in the email subscriber widget. This is stupid… there should be an edit button somewhere but I am not seeing it.

  How do i remove the ghost authors name from the widget as it should have the authors name in where I want my followers to enter their name.

  This should be simpler…

  How do i remove the ghost authors name from the widget as it shouldn’t have the authors name in where I want my followers to enter their name. It should be a blank box where my subscribers can enter in their name… why does it put the authors name in there? !?!?!?

  This should be simpler…
