Remove automatic date categorisation from blog posts
-
Hi,
My companys website features a blog section. Whenever we add a new blog post, wordpress automatically creates a section on our website where all of the blog posts created on that day can be found, even if it’s just one. is it possible to remove this feature so all these unnecessary sub-pages aren’t created?
Thank you!

Hi there,
On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.
If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help from the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead.
I don’t know of any built-in WordPress feature that does what you describe, so this might be getting added by your theme or a plugin on the site, in which case, you’d need to contact support for the specific theme/plugin instead.

Hi,
The link to the website is http://www.leanconsulting.com. It’s hosted on another server but we use wordpress.com to create the website so I was wondering if there was anything in the back end settings I could do to alter this?

Hi there,
It doesn’t matter if you’re using the WordPress.com interface. Your issue has to do with your WordPress installation and therefore it’s best to ask in the WordPress.org support forums:
