Remove blog
-
Hi there. I set up a site (not this one) for my final year uni project. I no longer have access to my university account so therefore cannot get into the site to remove it.

Hi there,
We cannot remove a site from WordPress.com at anyone’s request. Only an admin on a site can delete it or set it to private, so if it’s your site, you’ll need to regain access to the account that owns the site to do that.
If you no longer have access to the email address you used for that account, you can see our other recovery options here:

Hi. I am the admin. But the email address for the account is my university email address, from 7 years ago, that I can no longer access.
What other options are there? I no longer want this site up. -
You, meaning the account with the username,
elibeaton, that you’re using to post in the forums, is not an admin on the site in question. The only identifier we use on WordPress.com is the WordPress.com username, and we have no way of knowing or confirming that the same individual person owns two different WordPress.com accounts. If you don’t have access to the email address the only other option is to verify your ownership via one of the methods required on our account recovery form, as explained in the page I linked to above. If you’re not able to provide the required verification, we cannot give you access to the other account or any sites it owns.
