Remove blog account without username and password?

  At my work we have a blog that no one is using since years back. We want to remove it, but as no one have password or username (the persons who used the blog is long gone and work elsewhere) we can´t do it ourselves.
  The blog is selandet.wordpress.com

  Hello @boglasmide,

  Unfortunately only the account user can close or delete a blog. Is it possible to get in touch with the original owner and ask that they transfer the site to a WordPress.com account you own?
