Remove blog feed from home page

  Hi there,
  I would like to set it so that my home page is just that — a stationary home page without the blog feed. I would prefer to access the blog through the top nav and not have it on the main page. Is there a way to do this and just, say, have an image on the main page (with the two sidebars) and no blog? Thanks! -Tina
