Remove blog from dashboard / user account

    Hello,

I searched around and could not find an answer to do this — sorry in advance if I missed it.

A while back I created a blog for someone to help them get started, and created under my account. I then made them the admin, and had them make my userid a user instead of admin.

They are actually not using the blog, so I’ve asked them to delete it, but have not heard back.

I would like to “disassociate” my account/userid with their blog, so that I don’t see it as a blog in my dashboard.

Is this possible for me to do, or do I need to contact support?

    Thanks
    Sean

If you contact Support with the details we can do that.

You must contact us using the email address that is in the blog against your name though.

@mark-about a month ago, there was a related FAQ (How do I remove my external blog from the dashboard) that was subsequently removed. Would it be possible to bring it back with a note that people need to contact support to remove a blog from their dashboard? FWIW-same sort of thing when people are added as an author to someone else’s blog without their consent or when an author wants to leave a blog where they no longer wish to post. Those questions have also been posted recently in the forum.

(Of course the question will still be asked in the forum, but it would be nice to have an “official” FAQ on the odd chance that someone actually looks first before asking. :) )
