Remove Blogroll, Catorgies & Chg Pages from Alpha to Group Listings

    I have just created my blog and don’t want the Blogroll or Catorgies showing on the home pages. How do I remove them. Also, I have 13 pages that are showing up in alphabetical order but would like to arrange them in groups. Can anyone tell me how to fix these to features? I have been at it all day and gotten nowhere!

    Go to appearance > widgets and drag the pages widget over and into the sidebar. What is displayed before you add any widgets is a theme-generated sample set. Once you add a widget to the sidebar, the others will disappear. You can then add whichever widgets you want in the order you want.
