remove blue rollover frame around photographs
-
Hello,
I’m using the journalist theme and on my last few posts a bull frame appears over the photographs if the cursor passes over them. I’d like to remove this. I have searched and found some people say I need to do this in css, some say it’s about reducing the border size in image settings (which for some reason I can’t find). does anybody know how to get rid of this function please.
Many thanks in advance.
Christian

The blue border appears when you rollover an image which is linked to a larger version, another site, or to an attachment page. You have a couple of options.
1.) To avoid the link-border and also to have your image not link to anything,
as you insert new images:
choose “none” on the “link URL” line.2.) Or if you want the image to link to something:
Edit your post after you have inserted the image by clicking the image and choosing the mountain icon. Choose “Advanced Settings”
Then on the line “image properties”
on “border”
type in “0” (zero)
Save.
(You can do this in html if you are comfortable with that as well)Might be do-able with CSS, but you’d need the upgrade ($) and experience.

thanks for this, I cant seem to get it to work. I make both of those alterations but they dont seem to ‘save’ after I’ve made them, its strange. Thanks for your help, Christian

That’s odd. You can upload pictures, so you should be able to edit them. I don’t know what else to suggest.

Perhaps you have a browser issue. Which browser and version of it are you using? Try these troubleshooting techniques http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/ and let us know whether or not they are effective.
