remove bluehost
-
Hi, I want to get rid of the bluehost part of my website – it’s way too confusing for me. But, I want to keep the domain name. I have instructions on exporting content, but that seems to be so that it can get moved to a new domain.
Thanks much,

Hi there,
If you wish you can migrate from your current host to be hosted with us directly on WordPress.com instead. To clarify, you wish to move an exact copy of the site you have now? Or do you instead wish to simply export the contents of the existing site (pages, blog posts, uploaded media, etc.) but use those contents to design a new site here on WordPress.com? We are happy to walk you through the process depending on which path you prefer to use.
In either event, it is possible to transfer or connect peregrinationcultivation.com, which requires an upgrade to one of our plans on this end, but will allow you to use the same peregrinationcultivation.com address you have now, but on your WordPress.com site instead.
Thanks for the additional info!

Yes, that’s it, I want my site hosted on WordPress instead of Bluehost.
I went ahead and paid for a personal plan. Please walk me through the steps to to set up the domain name here… right now it looks like I created a new site at PeregrinationCultivation.wordpress.com.
Thanks much!

Hi,
I see that you’ve initiated the domain transfer process, which will take up to 5 days to complete. Once your domain is with us, you’ll be able to make it your site’s primary address and hide the .wordpress.com address. Here’s how to do that:
https://wordpress.com/en/support/domains/set-a-primary-address/
If you have any other questions, just let me know, and I’ll be happy to help.
