To remove the borders, including the box shadow, for images inside posts in the Chateau theme, try this:
.post-entry img { border: none; padding: 0px; -webkit-box-shadow: none; box-shadow: none; } -

1. Do you have a custom design upgrade?
2. All CSS editing is theme specific. Are you CSS editing the same theme ie. Chateau? -
Hi @timethief…thanks for the reply..so it means i have to have a CSS customer upgrade first before I can tweak the Chateau theme?
Then I can add in the no border CSS for my photos?thanks

If you don’t have the CD upgrade, you can remove the borders by switching the editor to HTML and changing this:
<img ETC ETC
to this:
<img style="border:none;-moz-box-shadow:none;-webkit-box-shadow:none;box-shadow:none;" ETC ETC -
You just made my day. Big time. Is there any way to take the borders out for the whole page without the CSS upgrade?
-
To make site-wide CSS changes, you do need to use the custom design upgrade. Or you can use panaghiotisadam’s solution and adjust each image separately as you add them.
-
Ok, I’m heading in that direction anyway. One more question – if I purchase the custom design upgrade, is it transferrable if I decide to switch themes?
Thanks for the quick response!

The custom design upgrade is per blog. You can switch to any theme you’d like on the blog where you purchase the upgrade and the custom design options will still be there on that same blog. Note that different themes require different CSS, so if you add custom CSS then you will very likely need to re-update it if you decide to change the theme.
