Remove by Author in posts

  Hello,

  I use Titron Lite theme. I want to remove the by + author(my account name) in the posts. I use the blog as a website and I have many authors. Please What should I do?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  What specifically are you wanting to remove? Just your author name or everybodies?

  If you look at my blog U can see the posts were added by askaosmani, but I just added them they have different authors, so I want to remove this askaosmani- my name- from the posts. I do not have CSS upgrade. How can I have it?

  Why don’t you just switch to a theme that doesn’t display the author? That’s easier than buying the $30 custom design upgrade and learning CSS editing just to make this change.

  If the authors have WordPress.com accounts you can add them as Authors to that blog and then edit the displayed author name for each of the posts.

  So, I must buy the theme to change this setting, or I must change the theme! I do not like both. Ok, thank you very mach raincoaster.

  No.

  Almost all of the 200 themes here are free. Just pick one!

  If you want to change the way that theme works, yes you need the upgrade.

  To further clarify what raincoaster said: No, you don’t have to buy the theme. There are currently 141 free themes available.

  The Custom Design upgrade is a yearly payment of $30. With that you have the ability to make CSS edits and a few other options as well. It can be very useful down the road if you would like to change the theme a little bit to make your blog/site more of your own.

  If you feel like this is what you really would like then all you have to do is go to your Dashboard > Store and purchase the Custom Design upgrade. Then all you would do is modify to your heart’s content as long as it meets the Terms of Service. :)

  I think I found some thing interesting! I changed my user-name; then, I changed all the posts so that all of them published by the same user name. I found that it was totally disappeared. Now, I don’t have any by phrase with the posts :-)
