Remove captions from featured post slider

  I’d like to remove the gray boxes meant for the post title and exerpt that shows up on the images in the featured post slider. I have the CSS upgrade so if anyone can help me out that would be very appreciated!

  The blog is private.
  CSS editing is theme specific.
  The theme is unknown.
