Remove 'Categories' from Webpage (trianglesteppingstones.com)

  I am only looking to utilize as a static site for a local non-profit business. Thus, I want to remove all blog, posts and category features from the pages. I seem to have made some progress, but ‘categories’ is still on my homepage and will not delete. Please help?

  This forum is only for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.com
  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
