Remove category info from top of posts
-
Hi there,
I am setting up my blog using the Watson theme.
I have got categories on my main menu and when I click on a particular category the posts in that category appear on the page.
That is exactly what I want. However, I want to get rid of the text that says ‘Posts from the *** category’ at the top and I also want to get rid of any reference to comments on the post. There doesn’t seem to be a particular button for this in the display options pane.
Any help would be great. Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately the heading is still there, even if I check the hide categories box.
I can get rid of it by deleting a line of code that seems to correlate to it, but the change isn’t permanent and when I refresh the heading reappears.
I must be doing something wrong. Thanks for advice re comments though, that worked.
Cheers -
Your blog is protected so I can’t see the heading you are talking about.

Going by this description, I reckon your are changing some style in your browser addon like FireBug for Firefox? In which case, you are correct, the change lasts only until you refresh the page.
You will need the paid Custom Design upgrade to be able to make permanent style changes.

Hi,
Thanks, yes, I have paid for that. How can I use it to make this change permanent?
Thanks -
I am afraid I can do very little unless I am able to see your blog.
I recommend you head to premium theme support page for Watson theme and post your question there. You will be able to meet your fellow Watson users so you might get quick help there. Also please let them know upfront that you have purchased Custom Design upgrade.
