Remove Category Navigation from Ocean Mist Theme
-
Is it possible to remove the category navigation from the bottom of the ocean mist theme? I don’t mind it, but it’d be nicer if I could perhaps alphabetize them. It also seems to be a bit redundant when I have a perfectly alphabetized category drop down menu in the sidebar.
I’m guessing I can only do this if I fork over money, so if that’s the case, you can tell me; I kinda expect it. :/

Yes you will have to purchase a css editing upgrade to do this http://faq.wordpress.com/2007/10/18/about-the-custom-css-upgrade/

Can I change the ID’s of the categories so I can manually reorder them, perhaps?
And if not, I suppose I can just delete them all and add them one by one in alphabetical order?

The categories are alphabetically ordered from left to right across the three columns, as pposed to being alphabetically ordered from top to bottom in three separate columns.
-
Deleting the categories and adding them again will make no difference the theme is coded to display them as I describe above and we cannot edit our underlying html or php in our themes at wordpress.com http://faq.wordpress.com/2005/09/27/edit-my-templates/

There’s something wrong with the ocean mist theme’s handling of category links beneath posts. Instead of linking to http://cawoodm.wordpress.com/tag/my-writing/ it’s linking to a 404 http://wordpress.com/tag/my-writing/
