Remove comment box from about page

  remove comment box from about page

  I don’t want the comment box to appear anywhere on my blog, I though I had removed it but it is on my about page and I cannot work out how to get rid of it.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can also override the default settings and enable or disable future comments on any individual post or page.

  I’m having the same problem on my pages – did you resolve it? I tried disabling comments, but it didn’t work

  All WordPress blogs by default have comments open on all Pages and Posts as in evidenced own your own blog. You can enable and disable comments on free hosted WordPress.com blogs on this page > Settings > Discussion
  Discussion settings is where you set up defaults for comments.

  Any existing posts or pages will need to have comments disabled manually via editing. You can use the bulk edit feature in the all posts and all pages screen to make that quicker.
