remove comment column

  how do i remove the comment column from my wordpress? as in, i dont want to have comments on my blog. thanks

  Dashboard => Settings => Discussion => Toggle users must register, toggle automatically close comments older then 0 days (not sure but I think that would disable them as soon as you post them.

  Disable comments for one post: Dashboard => Posts => Edit posts => Select post => Uncheck allow comments.

  no comments are allowed. but the site still shows “No comments”. how do i get rid of this?

  The “no comments” cannot be removed by itself. Even with the paid CSS upgrade, it cannot be removed since everything at the bottom of the post is controlled by one section of the CSS and doing a “display: none” on that would remove everything from below the post.
