Remove “Comments Off” Garland Theme
-
Can anyone please help me by telling me how to remove “Comments Off” from my posts. I already chose the no comments allowed option and I’m using the Garland theme. I can’t figure out how to remove them. Thanks in advance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Do you have the paid CSS upgrade and any experience with CSS? It can be removed, but it will also take other things with in in your posts on the “blog posts” page. Basically everything beneath the post. In your latest post, all of the following would disappear.
Posted in Community, Haiti, News. Leave a Comment »
That is because it is all controlled from the .meta class in the CSS.
There are some themes where the comments link is controlled separately although at the moment, I don’t know which. If you had the CSS upgrade and some CSS experience then in those themes with it separately controlled in the CSS you could hide it.

Thanks. I have almost zero css experience but I am learning. As for my blog, I just can’t figure out what to edit to remove the comments off message. Thanks again!

Since only “Comments Off” is enveloped by a “span” tag, this should work, leaving links intact:
.meta span {display: none;} -
