Hi there, the following will remove the date and comment text on the left side of single post, archives, tags and categories pages and widen the content.
#content .entry-details { display: none; } #content .entry-header, #content .entry-content { width: 100%; } -

Ron, we have some resources that can help you get started. Start by reading through the following. The last one introduces you to the web inspector in your browser, which I find to be an invaluable tool when working here in the CSS forums, and once you get the hang of things, I think you will too.

Is there any rule of thumb about how long you should leave a post up in order to generate readership. Some suggest writing every day, while others say leave your post up a week to allow for readership. Any suggestions? / Ron

@Ron, that is a hard one to answer. I’ve had a good number of visits to posts come in up to a couple weeks after I posted them. Not everyone can post each day since they don’t have the time. I would suggest once a week if you have the time and the inclination. That keeps your site in the mind of the visitors, and also keeps the search engines more interested.

I’ve created another blog On the Phillies
I also purchased a premium but it might have been for a blog that I deleted – I would like it to go to On the Phillies
I also own Ron-Costello.com at Bluehost domain manager and would like it to be the address on Oh the Phillies
Can you help?

@coolron33, hey there. I was just reading back through the forums and saw your question. I see that you were able to get http://ron-costello.com/ mapped to your “On the Phillies” blog, and it looks really great!

designsimply, do you think selling my book on my website will hurt my chances for getting selected for Freshly Pressed? http://roncostello.org/
-
Nope. Promoting a book that you have written is fine and I don’t think that will hurt Freshly Pressed chances.
