Remove Content Area Page Title background

  • Unknown's avatar

    My website is: http://www.i-am-her.org

I have a static front page and have removed the title from the content area. I now need to make the white background for that title area transparent so that my Featured Image shows in its entirety. (It will be the only item in the content area of that static page.)

Also…randomly a “Shopping Cart” floating tab has appeared at the bottom of my browser window. It appeared out of nowhere. I have no e-commerce plug-ins or widgets on my site. There is no way to add anything to the cart…there’s nothing for sale on my site. Not sure where it came from or how to eliminate it. Can’t find “cart” code anywhere in the Editor.

I have a CSS editor plugin installed. Just don’t have the codes. Any help you could give me would be great! Thanks for your time and expertise!

There is a Twenty Fourteen help forum at WordPress.org and here is the direct link: http://wordpress.org/support/theme/twentyfourteen . They should be able to help you out.
