REMOVE CUSTOM THEME NAME
-
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can help me REMOVE THE “CHATEAU THEM” at the bottom of the website. I don’t care if WordPress remains there but I don’t want Chateau to show.
PLEASE HELP!
I’ve tried using the developer tools, I googled, looked at other convos, but nothing has worked.
Thanks in advance!

Removing the Theme Credit is a violation of Terms of Service and it can result in having your site suspended.
ToS: https://en.wordpress.com/tos/
“Attribution. Automattic reserves the right to display attribution links such as ‘Blog at WordPress.com,’ theme author, and font attribution in your blog footer or toolbar. Footer credits and the WordPress.com toolbar may not be altered or removed regardless of upgrades purchased.”
There may be a way to change fonts and/or colors to make it a little less noticeable, but it must remain visible and readable. You could ask in the CSS forum for help with the coding.
