Remove date and author on Hemingway Rewritten theme

  Hey there, would anyone be able to tell me how to remove the date and author from my front page? Trying to go for the website, rather than the blog look. Thanks in advance!

  I’m not seeing author in the metadata on the main page, but do see it on the single post pages. The following removes date, author and then the little / before Leave a Comment on the main page. Go to Appearance > Customize > CSS, delete all the informational text in that window, and paste in the following custom CSS.

  .posted-on, .single .byline, .comments-link .sep {
      display: none;
  }

  If you also want to remove the leave a comment link on the main page use the following instead.

  .entry-meta {
      display: none;
  }
