Remove date and time stamp on posts on Penscratch Theme

  I know this has been asked numerous times, but none of the answers make sense to me.

  I want to remove the date and time from posts and the main page. I’ve seen that I need to add specific code and then “Just place that under Appearance -> Customize -> CSS.”

  However, under Appearance, the Customize in Penscratch takes you to a program-like interface, and there is nowhere to put CSS code. There is CSS codes under Appearance –> Editor, but the style sheets are complex and I’m not sure where to insert the code.

  Also, I’ve seen two different codes to insert.

  For the love of pete, please help. =)
