Remove Date From Permalink

    Hi,

    I want to remove the date from permalink and just have the post-slug but I can’t find a way to do this.

    I’m subscribed to a premium plan which is already almost £100 a year. I won’t upgrade to business just for this. I will just get the 30 day refund and change over to WordPress.org if this is the case.

    Surely this isn’t the case? Crazy!

    Hi Scott,

    Regrettably, to remove the date from permalink, you would need an upgrade to Business plan.

    Agree with you; I also won’t upgrade to Business plan just to have the Permalink date erased.

    If you want to change the Permalink date, going to self-hosted software would be a great idea.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Unfortunately I like the ease of having the site WordPress.com as I like using their app. I’ve noticed a huge increase in productivity using it, so I may opt to upgrade to business.

    Further question – you know the “follow” tab at the bottom of the website that’s still there with Premium, can this be removed with Business?

    Thanks,
    Scott

    You are welcome Scott :)

    Well, the good news is you can easily remove the follow tab by adding a customization CSS, so you can do it with the Premium plan also :)
    Here is the code:

    #actionbar {
    display: none;
    }
