Remove dates from Oxygen slider for FREE

  After some researching and clicking around randomly, I finally found a way to “remove” the dates from the Oxygen slider for FREE, without editing any code.

  Under Dashboard > Settings > General, find the Date Format section and choose Custom. Then, enter a “.” or a “_” or some other insignificant looking character, and save. Voila! A clean front page slider, free from slightly unsightly distracting numbers.
