  please can someone tell me how to remove the date from my about page

  If you have the Custom Design option (included with any of WordPress.com’s paid plans), you can add some CSS to remove the date.

  However, since your site is marked private, I’m unable to see what theme you’re using (or any other details related to your site), so I can’t give you any detailed suggestions as to what CSS code you should add.

  Additional info: I tried to set the Hero theme on my own blog, and created a simple About page, but I don’t see the date anywhere on my end.
